Before and After

4th of July weekend I rummaged through my dad's old woodpile while he cut up some pieces for me on his handy table saw.

I took a few home and after some brainstorming, paint, and what my boys like to call,
"a little love", this is what I got...

I also was given this old birdcage which was pretty gray and weather worn. It immediately came back to life with some refreshing aqua blue.

I am hoping to get a few more of these done and at some point start selling them. After just a couple of hours of putting these pictures on Facebook, I already have 4 orders for some personalized signs.
Maybe I am on to something here?
Just another great reason to paint!
