I found this cute little stand at a thrift store for about the price of a cup of coffee.
(Starbucks, not McDonalds, in case you were wondering.)
And I almost forgot, again, to take a before pic.
Lately, I have been sticking to what is working. For me, right now, it's Minwax Wood Finish, Early American color, paint from my local hardware store, sandpaper, and pieces of wall paper I bought off of ebay.
And the final product....
I am really liking ivory and white's mixed together lately.
